Fields For Our Future is a partnership between Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Parks and Recreation District (BIMPRD) and Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club (BIYSC) to renovate the two current sand/rubber playing fields, #4 and #5, at Battlepoint Park. This will include repairing or replacing the existing drainage, installing the proper sub-grade, and topping with a modern artificial turf surface known as an in-fill system. The existing goals and bleachers will also be replaced. Check out a conceptual architectural rendering here.

To accomplish this goal, we need to raise around $1.5 million dollars. We are well on our way, with a combination of fundraising efforts and grants bringing us to within $400,000 of our goal.
