Will there be anything else built with the two soccer fields?

The current bleachers will be replaced with new bleachers.  The current goals will be replaced with new goals.  BIYSC has promised NOT to install a public address system.

Where will the fields be built?

The fields will be built over the top of the existing fields #4 and #5 at Battlepoint Park.  Those fields are located just north of the West (Battlepoint Drive) entrance of the park. 

Who can use these new fields?

The Parks will have scheduling control (as it does now) of the renovated infill fields.  Anyone can use them.  BIYSC will have priority use and will be using them most of the time from September through December.  One can sign up to use them by filling out a “Field Use Form” in the Parks Department office.  There may be a user fee.  Dogs and other animals will not be allowed on the fields.
