Fields For Our Future is the partnership between Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club (BIYSC) and Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Parks and Recreation District (BIMPRD) to renovate athletic fields #4 and #5 at Battle Point Park with Fieldturf.

BIYSC, the City of Bainbridge Island, the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office, The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, the BIMPRD, the Bainbridge Island Boys Lacrosse Club, the Bainbridge Island Girls Lacrosse Club, the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation, the Bainbridge Community Foundation, a low-interest loan from Washington State Youth Soccer Association and over 2,000 individuals have contributed towards the funding of this project for a total of $1.47 million. This is enough funding to start construction. Permits for the field renovation have been approved. An additional $10,000 is needed for the fence and handicapped accessible pathways in order to open the fields for play. Construction may begin late December/January and is planned to take eight weeks.
